Jacinda Arden’s departure as the leader of New Zealand has pushed society to reflect on its hidden expectation that people in powerful roles should remain composed and put up a facade, regardless of personal struggles or mental health concerns.
Jacinda leaving office opened many eyes to this “unseen burden” placed upon political figures – one which can lead them down an extremely stressful path towards burnout if left unchecked.
We must now ask ourselves: Is perfection really what we want from our leaders? And, what message does this send?
What if instead we could appreciate our elected leaders exactly how they are?
When we create spaces where courageous authenticity is embraced without hesitation and accepted admirably, then truly remarkable leadership will emerge, unhampered by traditional expectations, and leaders will be able to focus solely on their work.
Can you relate to this?
Let’s strive towards this reality together; let’s allow ourselves (and each other) permission to show up authentically, every day!
Authenticity is at the heart of our mission here at CETFREEDOM. With an unwavering commitment to showing up authentically, we provide a platform for inspiring self-expression and personal growth.
Whether you’re a leader or not, your mindset, beliefs and emotions affect everything – your relationships, career choices, health, attitude to situations, and how you handle success or failure.
CET, Conscious Emotional Transformation, gives you the power to take charge and change your mindset and limiting beliefs for the better, so you can begin to live the life you desire.
