You graduated from diet culture. You’re too smart for that overt, toxic bullshit. You threw out the low-fat yogurt and the 100-calorie snack packs years ago.

Now, you’re into wellness.

Your cage just got an upgrade. It’s no longer made of cheap plastic and shame. Now it’s made of organic, gluten-free, sustainably sourced, non-GMO, adaptogenic, gold-plated bars.

But it’s still a cage.

Let’s be brutally honest. The “wellness” industry, for all its green juice and yoga pants, is just diet culture in a prettier, more expensive dress. It has co-opted the language of health and turned it into another weapon of control, another system of rules, another way to make you feel like you’re failing.

It’s the same game, just with a new vocabulary:

  • “Good” and “bad” foods are now “clean” and “inflammatory.”
  • Calorie counting is now macro tracking.
  • The goal is no longer to be skinny; it’s to be “optimized.”

It’s a system that still positions your body as a problem to be solved, a project to be managed, an unruly beast to be tamed with enough collagen peptides and intermittent fasting.

It’s a system that still keeps you obsessed with food. It still hijacks your mental bandwidth. It still makes you feel guilty for eating a piece of “unclean” cake. It still keeps you small, distracted, and obedient.

It’s just a prettier cage. A cage you’re paying a fortune for.

The real work isn’t to find a better cage. The real work is to realize you were never meant to be in a cage at all.

The real work is to dismantle the very idea that you need an external system of rules to tell you how to inhabit your own body. The real work is to cultivate the intelligence that is already inside you.

Stop shopping for a better cage. Start planning your escape.

If you’re tired of the wellness hamster wheel and you’re ready for actual freedom, this is the conversation. This is the work. If you’re curious about what lies beyond the cage, you can find more info at www.cetfreedom.com. Or just send me a message. Let’s talk.
